“wild geese” is based off of mary oliver’s poem of the same name.
handcarved on soft linoleum block, hand printed onto acid-free off-white paper, with canfield oil-based ink. numbered prints, 25 total
because each print is hand printed, there is some variation in the “chatter” (small marks in the negative space, picking up the ridges in the carving). i feel this is part of the charm of relief prints, but if you’re ever not satisfied with a piece, feel free to reach out to me for an exchange.
